Hanszen Laporte Successfully Defends Business and Intellectual Property Rights

Matthew Hansel and Anthony Laporte successfully defended a Hanszen Laporte client’s business and intellectual property rights this week, obtaining an order from the Western District of Texas denying plaintiff’s attempt to shut-down the client’s operations with an onerous injunction. The client, an advanced oil and gas services company, was sued for alleged patent infringement and the injunctive relief sought by the plaintiff would have effectively prevented Hanszen Laporte’s client from conducting any business for, at minimum, 8 months to 1 year.
