HL’s Real Estate team successfully defended their client’s title

Forrest Cohrs and Kent Hanszen, with the assistance of Terry Ford, successfully defended their client’s title to property against claims of forgery and other nefarious acts. The firm’s client, an innocent purchaser, found himself embroiled in a battle, which centered around the transaction which predated his purchase. Seven years after the subject deed was signed, the grantor filed suit claiming that he had not signed the deed, despite his notarized signature. The HL trial team untangled the murky mess of facts which led to the execution of the earlier deed. And, after a week’s long trial, the jury came back with a verdict in favor of HL’s client.
